We had a BBq at our house to show our appreciation to everyone who gave of their time and were so willing to spend time with my Dad while he was in the hospital.As my Mom always said Dad had many angels and double angels. You never realize how much you appreciate or need your extended family until someone is very ill. I don't know what we would of done without so many people to lend a helping hand in any way they could. Even though not everyone was in attendance a great time was had by all. I'm sure my Dad would of been pleased to see everyone gathered together enjoying the night. I still miss my Dad's presence at any function we have but at some point in time someone will say something or make reference to one of my Dad's famous comments(and he had lots of them) and it makes me feel like he is still very much with us. So a personal thank you to everyone for everything you do and continue to do I appreciate you more each day and am glad you are my family.Thank goodness for Family.

What a beautiful day it is today. Hot, hot and hotter. This is the kind of weather that makes me glad we have a pool.!! Finished my first week of fulltime hours and it was not so bad. Monday to Thursday 7am-4:15 and Friday 7am-Noon. Friday is my new favorite day. Only downside is I have to work at the big Z tomorrow from 5am-12:30.....so my week is not really over until tomorrow. Had a get together at my place last night with a few of my cousins, my Aunt, my Mom and my sister. A good time was had by all and hopefully we will do it again some time soon. Life gets very busy once you have children and they consume most of your free time when they are small and now as they are older and more independant but not mature yet(lol Sami and Amara) we can regain relationships that we once had and unfortunately didn't have enough time to nurture. In this hot weather I am off to poolside to have a tall ice cold drink and enjoy my book and reap the rewards of relaxation after a long work week. So in drinking fashion I say CHEERS to one and all and keep cool in this heat no matter what it takes or how you have to do it.

Fraser Family Reunion 2006 was held in Cornwall Ontario. A great time was had by all especially all of us. There was a special suprise for all the mom's in our family when the female grandchildren, headed by the oldest female and grandchild Jennica,organized t-shirts with Archie's girl on the back for all of the female women in our family. That started the weekend off on the right foot. Even though my dad was not with us he certainly was with us in spirit and our t-shirts made everyone think of him when they saw the shirts. I had lots of comments about the shirts and will treasure it always. Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart I truely LOVE all of you! I can hardly wait until Kelowna in 2011.
