Wow it's been a long while since I've sat here and blogged...lifes been busy, thats a good thing though! Short and sweet today and I'll try and post a better one soon!

AAAAAHHHHH our spa weekend was so relaxing and enjoyable! How can you not relax when you spend all day being pampered and in a housecoat and slippers!! We arrived in Niagra on Friday afternoon and checked into our hotel( hello beautiful) Then we picked up Sarah and headed into St. Catherines for supper(hello yummy) After supper we returned to the hotel to await Lyn and Rebekah's arrival. Once they arrived we had a few drinks, Lyn brought the magic bullet...what else can I say and chatted before we headed off to bed. In the morning we had breakfast and dressed ourselves in our spa robes and slippers then headed down to the spa. After checking into the spa, we were escorted to the spa lounge to await the call for our treatments(hello yes there is a spa lounge) We all had pedicures which was really nice being together for one of our treatments. After our pedicures we went back to the spa lounge where we were served lunch, I had a veggie wrap and sweet potatoe fries(hello my new favorite craving) Me and mom had a manicure after lunch, then we met up with the rest of the girls for a tim Hortons coffee Sarah and Jennica brought back for us(hello can you go a whole weekend without a timmies) then we headed down to the hot springs(hello who can ask for anything more) For supper we ordered in pizza and played games. It was such a great weekend and we all had such great fun that we decided to make it an annual event and do a different spa every year(hello love that idea) Thanks ladies for an awesome weekend I had so much fun with all of you and you all are such wonderful people. All I have left to say is "Lets do that again!!" 

We celebrated the 2nd annual London Wine and Food show with Joe and Claire again. I didn't think it was possible but we had another great night. After we had so much fun at last years event I wasn't sure if this years would add up but to my pleasure it did. As it was such a success last year and the reviews were so good it was much more crowded this year but thats a good sign as it will ensure another great event next year. We always have such a good time with Joe and Claire and seem to be seeing more and more of them. The more time I spend with my brother the more I like the person he is. He is an interesting and enjoyable person, I'm glad he's my brother. I look forward to more wine and Food shows and our other passion more theatre. Which is expensive on the budget but well worth the money. Looking forward to the next time we get together...can hardly wait. 

Merry Christmas mom. I know it was a tough christmas for you but I hope you managed to enjoy it a little. We certainly loved having you here with us Christmas eve and morning, but we all missed Dad so much. He certainly has left a constant void in all of our lives.It would have been nice to spend the whole day with you but since that is out of my control I take what I can get and enjoy the time we share together. Maybe this year will be a better one for all of us. Happy 2007 and here's hoping it's a good year full of good times with those we love and cherish the most with you at the top of the list always. I love you tons!!!!  

AHHHH a real mommy moment!! What mom does not love moments like these. It warms my heart to see them like this. When ever I say ahhh this warms my heart they know it is a kodak mommy moment. I actually am having more of these lately. AHHHH that makes me have a mommy moment just saying that. I love you ladies. Give me lots of mommy moments in 2007 please!!! 

My mom is crazy!!! That is the one thing I love about my mom. She is always willing to have fun with everyone, especially her grandchildren. What great memories she is helping all of us make. Love that "Charlies Angel's" pose mom. Keep having fun with everyone we love your spontaneity!!! Hope I have some of that in my genes. Love you tons!  

Merry HO HO HO!!!! In keeping with our tradition we decorated our tree on Amara's birthday. It actually was the best and funniest tree decortating we have had. With the girls getting older and appreciating the event things went very smoothly this year. Its nice when they get older because you can have fun with them also. We did not get any pictures with their santa hats this year because Sami misplaced her's....okay who is suprised about that one!!??? At one point I was laughing so hard I could not even get a picture taken, it took three tries and even then did not turn out much to my liking. So as we get ready for yet another Christmas season I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and hope Santa is good to you whether you are naughty or nice, even though we all know its always better to be naughty even if Santa doesn't agree, ho ho ho!!!! 

Happy 15th Birthday Miss Amara!!! Its hard to believe you are 15 already. Where has the time gone too? Not long ago you were just toddling along and now here you are all grown up and oh so beautiful. Mommy is so proud of you. After a tough year last year you managed to turn things around, which I realize is hard to do. I am sure you still struggle but I think the good will win out in the end because you are such a strong and determined person. I love the person you are becoming and you also should be proud of yourself and your accomplishments. So as I wish you a happy 15th year, I hope it is a good year for you as well. Mommy loves you baby girl...xoxo!!!!!!! 

Hard to believe my babies are all grown up!!! And what beautiful young ladies they have become. Sometimes I can not believe they are mine....absolutely gorgeous. I always thought I would miss the baby stage because I loved when they were babies, so cuddley and loveable who doesn't love to hold and snuggle a baby. As the girls grew I began to realize that I love every stage of their life for a different reason. When they were toddlers and learning so much it was exciting to learn along all over again with them. Then they went off to preschool and then to real school...how will I survive??? Oh my then came high school...I'm to young to have two teenagers in high school right??!! I absolutely love the age they are at now even though we have trying times I still count my blessings because it can always be worse. They are well grounded, polite girls and have a real sense of the true meaning of family and love their family dearly. They love doing all the girly things like getting their hair and nails done and of course SHOPPING. So even though I thought one time long ago that I would miss the baby stage I truely don't it was just the beginning of a long journey I am travelling with my girls and enjoying every single minute of our journey together. I love both of you tons and tons and oodles and oodles for ever and always. Thanks for becoming amazing young ladies who I am very proud of, I guess I've done a good job so far.  

We attended our second Candlelight Walk in Niagra-On-The-Lake this year and had a great time. The weather didn't start out very well as it was raining pretty hard when we left Guelph. However as we approached Niagra the rain stopped and the sunny came out for a bit. The walk was very nice this year and the rain held out for us to finish up. We headed back to Sarah and Stefan's where we were treated to supper prepared by Stefan himself who is a very good cook. We enjoyed the evening and shared in a glass of wine or two and some scotch for the guys. As usual we were made to feel right at home and very much welcomed. Its so nice having nieces and nephews and watch them grow into wonderful adults who you enjoy spending time with. I'm sure the candle light walk will become a tradition for us not only because we enjoy the walk but we enjoy spending time with Larry, Dorothy, Sarah, Stefan and of course that cutie of a Oliver.
